Religion and Global WarmingWhat these religious groups say about this fact is God's and the Bible's being unbiased when it comes to any political issue. Although they all agree that the ultimate demise for everybody will not be caused by any of our activities that cause the destructive heating up of the atmosphere but by things we do to our souls. So what have people got to say about religion and global warming? Christian or not, everybody would agree that it would be very irresponsible to ignore the causes, effects, and everything about the destructive issue on global warming. Although this is not the only thing bugging the human mind these days and for years now, it is one issue that remains to be the agenda among organizations seeking for everybody's good. But is it sad to note that there is an inherent fear among those concerned that people will turn more attention in suspect science and panicking about it than on dealing with the issues about preventing the causes of global warming and resolving it. And when it comes to the issue about the causes of global warming that has got something to do with religion nothing comes close to those who burn their dead instead of burying them. Common sense would dictate that a burning human body would emit harmful gases that would contribute to the never-ending problem of atmospheric heating. Religious wars are also always mentioned when it comes to associating global warming with religion. Wars brought about by contrasting beliefs produce not only the mortality rate but the heat percentage in the atmosphere. Not to mention the heat produced by every single rifle. Fatalism, the belief that everything is predetermined by fate, considers global warming an issue that need not be worried about. Anything that is happening to the planet has been destined to happen. Believers of the said faith are therefore indifferent when it comes to the prevention of further deterioration of the atmosphere brought about by human activities. Although man has his free will, fatalism believes that there is nothing that man can do to stop or prevent anything that has been fated to happen-accidents, deaths, catastrophes, etc. So is religion and global warming connected to each other (directly or indirectly)? That's for you to figure out. Comments |
