Climate change claims underfire - Paradise Post- global warming news

The global warming theory has bothered many scientists for quite a while, but scientists who have expressed that doubt have been castigated in the press and on the university campuses where they work. The "politically correct" crowd has been on the offensive calling for new laws that will limit the amount of man-made hydrocarbons going into the atmosphere. Murari Lal, the coordinating lead author of the 2007 IPCC report's chapter on Asia, told the Sunday Mail, a British Newspaper that he knew there were no solid data to support the report's claim that Himalayan glaciers - the source of drinking and irrigation water for downstream areas throughout Asia - could dry up by 2035. Independent climate scientist, Peter Taylor, says some of these "blunders" that have been found in the research that brought on the "global warming scare" in America and Europe have been, " blown out of proportion. It can't just be a matter of adjusting the practices they have got to look at the consequences of having got it wrong in terms of what the public thinks is going on. Among the "blunders" in the report according to the London Daily Press, is a section that claims the Netherlands is 55 percent below sea level when they are only 26 percent, below sea level which was always the case.
